About Us

At Spurling Design, we believe that architecture should be a reflection of the people who inhabit it. Our approach is centered around creating spaces that serve both the practical needs and imaginative visions of our clients. We view great architecture as a harmonious blend of history, innovation, and technology, always attuned to the lifestyle of those who will call it home.

We believe that successful design is the result of solid collaboration—between architect, client, consultant, and builder—working together to bring a shared vision to life.

Vision

Our vision is to make good architecture attainable for all, to make comfortable, delightful built environments that have meaning and serve the whole person: body, mind, and soul.

Architecture with Purpose and Integrity

At Spurling Design, we see structures as more than just walls and roofs—they have character and energy that speak to the people who use them. We love demonstrating how well-built systems come together to support lasting, meaningful spaces. We actively seek out projects that contribute to the public good and our environment, aligning with clients who share these goals.

How Jeri Works

The Project Planning Pack and Questionnaire help people do essential research, gather information, and define needs, dreams, and budget before diving into the design for their home. These steps along with the pre-design interview, where Jeri will ask more questions, provide the basis for a pre-design diagnosis. They serve to inform and streamline the design process. They allow for quick work to identify the best approach, so Jeri can often arrive at a design solution on the first attempt —- eliminating a costly series of designs. Jeri provides 3D renderings early in the design process, giving clients the clarity and control they need to make informed decisions.
